Abstrakt
W dorocznym orędziu o stanie państwa w 2005 roku prezydent Rosji Władimir Putin nazwał rozpad ZSRR „największą geopolityczną katastrofą stulecia”. Od tego czasu wydaje się, że wymyślił on nowy, wyrachowany sposób na zrekonstruowanie i wskrzeszenie
tej wańki-wstańki. Za pomocą genialnego fortelu – paszportyzacji – ekspansjonistyczne zakusy Putina wobec swoich sąsiadów zaczęły wychodzić na jaw. Artykuł próbuje wyjaśnić istotę tego nowego podstępu oraz pokazać problemy, jakie powoduje on zarówno dla państw poradzieckich, jak i całej społeczności międzynarodowej.
