Abstract<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Consular privileges and immunities, including the immunity from jurisdiction ensure appropriate realisation of consular functions. They include rights, allowances, exemptions and special protection enjoyed by consular offices and their staff. At present the
basic legal source of consular privileges and immunities is the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of 1963. The paper analyses provisions of the Convention related to the immunity from administrative, civil and criminal jurisdiction of the receiving state. It also compares the said provisions with pertinent regulations in force under Polish law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
